| This was the first of many album covers which featured no writing or images of the band members in its design. The cow featured was called Lulubelle III, according to her owner. Although received well, the band members have been critical of the album in subsequent years, much like they were with Ummagumma. |

| This album was actually recorded as a soundtrack for the French film, La Vallée, also released in 1972. The film is about a woman who travels with a small group of explorers through the New Guinea bush. The album cover features a photograph of a man sitting in a tree, but has been rendered unrecognisable and abstract because it is so out of focus. |
